Man it sure felt like it... but no I think that is exaggerated lol. He did run down 2 different sets of rapids and I had to cross the river twice.

10' 6" Lamiglas SI float rod with 20 lb braid and 17 lb mono leader. The gear wasn't an issue, the fish was just a stud! Best steelhead battle I have ever had, I will never forget it! Also as I said above, I don't think it was 45 mins... that was exaggerated but damn did it feel like it!
