Just think of the unclipped hatchery fish the cheaters will plant from their new hatchery. WTF are they thinking. It's just more proof that they don't give sh!t about native runs. They want instant gratification which could take on several meanings. Why spend the money to get rid of the dams if you're putting hatchery fish in the river. The article said they've waited for 100 years....to put in a new hatchery? Now there will be empty cans of beer all the way up the river.

Take a good look at the pics. Glines Canyon is what is known as a "gun-sight" canyon, or a V-shaped canyon. That is, it's narrow and steep (like a gun-sight) with lots of water flowing thru it. This geological feature is extremely rare in the U.S. nowadays. Why? Because these places were dammed up many years ago. They were the perfect place for a dam. With the removal of dams in the Pacific Northwest, these geologic features are becoming more visible (e.g. Condit Dam).

You can see why they decided to build a dam at Glines Canyon. It's the perfect place......
