Bankin' it in Castle Rock

I'm fishing with Phil this coming Saturday on the Cowlitz. My buddy and I are driving down on Friday.

Can anyone give me some guidance on some bank fishing spots near Castle Rock? I've only done the Cowlitz way up at Barrier and Blue Creek (and from a drift boat), never as far downstream as Castle Rock.

It seems like this should be an eggs under a float fishery. Or is this a plunking show?

Any insight would be appreciated.

Can you still get to the confluence with the Toutle?

I've never been there, so I don't know. If I recall, that spot was a popular vandalism site. Or am I remembering incorrectly?
