First Strike Lures - New Trolling Spinners, Spoons

It's been a great first full month peddling these lures...I've spoken with some really nice people and twisted up a ton of spinners! Kinda cool to be getting all these larger orders but then you're like "dang...now I gotta twist up 100 spinners!" Anyway, here's an update:

R&B "Candy"
Created by applying translucent paints over a genuine silver base resulting in beautiful metallic finishes. We already do the candy colors on the spinner bodies but thought we might sweeten' up a few blades and spoons this month too and so far the response has been really great. A few examples pictured below.

Let's Get Hammered!
We just added hammered front french blades to the standard spinner line-up which means that we now have over 60 different spinner variations in stock in sizes #4, #4.5 & #5. A few of those also pictured.

You Have a Friend in the Lure Business!!!
One of the cool things about doing this and working with Rob in particular is that I can sit here and dream up pretty much any blade in any color/pattern and Rob will make it for me. He might give me the "you sure you want that" look now and then but he's been a good sport. That same thing goes for you guys! Anything you don't see on the website (www.firststrikelures.com) is a special order item which we are happy to do - we already do dozens each month for people who ask. All standard blade types (French, Colorado, Indiana, etc) in sizes #00 through #7...and if you can imagine it we can probably do it. It doesn't cost extra, you don't need to buy a bunch at a time and shipping as always is just $2.99. Now is a good time to contact me and get those special orders in as I can see things are only going to get crazier as the year progresses.

The candy and hammered blades need to be a permanent item on your site.

Can you share a timeframe for this? Will they be offered in the same array of colors as your 4's and 5's? There's 1 in particular I'm interested in for size 3.

Within a week or so Eric. Starting with a limited number at first that we'll continue to grow. First offering in #3's will be gen polished silver, brass and black blades combined with candy blue, candy pink, brass and black bodies. One cool thing about R&B #3's is that they are .032 thickness just like the #4's and up...mini thumpers.

We can do #1's and #2's in these as well. As always, if you're looking for something you don't see us listing just lemme know and I'll have it made for you. Special orders obviously take a little longer to get than standard stocked items but we're happy to do it and you don't have to buy a ton at a time.

I'm calling these "Casting Thumpers." Big and heavy #5 (aprox 3/5th oz) casting spinners in classic trolling spinner blade patterns. These puppies cast a mile, dive deep and spin with ease telegraphing that rod tip vibrating "thump" that tells you it's working perfectly. Perfect for big water casting from bank or boat.
