New sockeye salmon rec stamp for Alaska

A potential new fee awaits those wishing to travel to Alaska to fish sockeye salmon. For non-residents, expect this to at least DOUBLE your existing license fee.

With no revenue from the state's historically lucrative king salmon stamp, this comes as no surprise.

I like it. Get the money, it isn't going to stop one person from travelling north to fish.

Can't charge more for less and less, then wonder why the tourist dollars are not being spent in AK. Might not make much of a difference, this coming summer..........but it will !!!!!!!!!
