State Fish and Wildlife official accused of burglary, rape

OLYMPIA, Wash. -- The deputy director of the State Department of Fish and Wildlife was arrested Wednesday for investigation of rape and burglary.

Police believe 53-year-old Gregory A. Schirato broke into an Olympia home in the early hours of December 18. The victim told police she woke up to find a stranger standing over her. She said the man sexually assaulted her and then left.
