Broke the industrial sewing machine tonight.

Anybody got one to borrow/rent/steal for a day or two? Gotta get a boat top done for delivery Sunday night.

Whoops. What brand? We used to have 100's of them, but, liquidated them when we sold our business. I sometimes miss hearing the the machines running.

It's been running about a million hours with no problems till yesterday and of course it needs to get done.

I think that's the machine David has. I'm picking up his and taking it to Tacoma today and see if I can get it fixed.

I will talk to him this morning and see. Just don't know.

You don't ever want to travel the road I took to get here, it's been a tough one for sure. This broken down body is just try'n to keep a'rollin.

Been retired 13 or so years now and I do get my rest. I do not know how I ever had time to get things done when I was working as I'm so busy these days I should'a never had any spare time at all.

You get a Machine? Im in Monroe, I have an Old PAFF from the 50's Im not sure I wouldn't call it Industrial and but it is heavy duty and might fit the bill. PM if Interested..

It needs to be industrial as it has several layers of canvas, zippers and window plastic to go through.

Ive sewing through 3 layers of leather with it. and didnt strain it. PFaff 130 i think and it is portable and can be hand turned if necessary

Im also going to be in the market for cover for my 16ft Lavro drift boat...

Got it all figured out. I drove to Renton today and my son bought a new machine and is hooking up now. Back to building tops and such.

HITF can you people drive in that traffic? That is crazy and hope I never have to do it again.

Good show FP. Glad you located a machine. Is your old one repairable? Or did it break big time?

The old one is at the shop and they are gonna look see what broke and how much. David said it was a clutch bearing.

If he fixes it he will probably sell.
