Most of the commercial fleet uses brush on oil based Rustoleum.

I have used a flat white spray to cover old names. I have lots of visitors so I change names on bouy's often.

+1 for cheap spray paint. They get lost, stolen or whatever....don't over think it.

I don't care if you steal them, take all the crab out, and stuff the pot full of empty PBR cans, but quit moving and dumping them in our fishing lanes!

Nothing more entertaining than hooking an illegal submerged crab pot while trolling gear in a known fishing/trolling lane. Ok, it's slightly more entertaining when that happens to CaptainQ and not Tom and I, or his old man, the Teamster.

If Sky-Guy and Toff are on the water, feel free to carpet bomb their trolling lanes with all kinds of pots! smile
