Twin Harbors still unable to purge accumulated toxins.

Copalis Beach free and clear for the past 6 domoic acid tests and consistently the lowest levels for all the state beaches, but no love for the home team.

Crap.

I guess the upshot is the numbers are close and still dropping. I know this…..I ain't driving 2 hrs to Long Beach to dig 10 min worth of clams! Hoping the numbers spike down soon and the dept will backload openers later in the season to make up for lost digs. Had some great April/May digs the last few years.

I'm thinking the QIN are doing their bit, to keep the clam population from getting too big......
