Seagulls and smelt - 02/15/16 07:15 PM
I was driving south bound on I-5 along the Columbia River. We were a bit down river from the Kalama. I looked over to the Columbia and saw the river covered thick with seagulls. Haven't seen that many bird in one spot since August/September on the ocean off the Columbia. There has got to be a ton of smelt under those gulls. They were sure going at them.
