Fishing the Bogachiel river - 03/27/16 09:52 AM

Going over to fish the Bogachiel river next weekend, never fished it before and trying to figure out the best floats. I am going to try a short float Friday afternoon and an all day float on Saturday. Any advice about put in and pull out sights??

The Bogie gets super crowded this time of year because it's the easiest float in the Forks area. Last time I did it on a weekend there were 30+ boat at the hatchery put in. The drift you decide might depend on whether you have a hard boat or a raft/ pontoon. I suspect water will get low by the weekend.

I nearly got killed the 1st, 5th and 12th times I went down the Sol Duc. Go with someone who knows the way.
