Each and every one of you who reads this article should use the form at the bottom of this article to send a note of support for Carpenter and Wecker to Inslee, Cantwell, Murray, and Pearson.

Done. I added a paragraph:

On a related note, due to the State's refusal to change the status quo and update the fisheries management paradigm to something more appropriate for managing stocks of endangered, iconic species, I have already made a decision NOT to purchase a fishing license this year, after having eagerly done so for each of the 18 prior years I have been a resident. There are MANY other sport anglers, young and old, talking about doing the same. If that's a trend that concerns you, you'll see to it that the commission charged with representing all fish and wildlife user groups remains politically-balanced. If you want wild salmon to have a future beyond a couple decades, you'll appoint individuals that emphasize CONSERVATION over ALL other interests, sport fishing included.

My add to the letter.

As a life time Washington resident (57 years), I'm sick of all of the political agendas involved in our fisheries management.
All one has to do is look at the economic impact of recreational versus commercial fisheries to the state to figure out where your priorities should be.
Just like large scale logging, commercial fishing in this state is well past its usefulness.
It's simple Gov. Inlee, do the right thing and support recreational sportsmen!
