Liver for shrimp bait? - 03/05/17 11:12 AM

I was wondering if anyone has tried beef liver for shrimp bait. I have some of that stuff and wouldn't mind getting rid of it. Thank you.

Not sure? Was wondering the same for crab? I bought a 1/2 beef and got the liver. Tried liver and onions and not my cup of tea. I am gonna try it for crab bait this summer.

Sea lion or harbor seal liver would have that desirable fishy smell..........

If you have dogs, you can em' make tasty liver treats pretty easy in the oven or dehydrator. Dogs > crab. Save your fish and chicken carcs for the crab - IMO.

Edit: only do it in the oven when your ol' lady won't be around for about a day or two. Dehydrate in the garage if at all possible.
