Lost on the river?

I read in the news feed that a man was rescued after being lost on the Black river for three days without food or water. How could that happen?

There use to be a place in the late 70's called Rainbow Valley on Black River.
If you ever visited there during their festivals you would understand just how easy it is to get lost on the Black River for 3 days.

This for sure, I felt lost for a solid 48hrs after a good time at Gideon's.

I kinda thought that might be it...
