Fished Sekiu the last 9 days. Most of the legal kings are small 22 to 26 inches, there are a few 15 to 20 pounders in the mix. Landed 5 of the bigger kings with only 1 being clipped. Also a few silvers around they are 3 to 4 pounds. It will only get better from this point on.

So 4 out of 5 of the larger fish were not clipped. That's been my experience at CQ for several years. I'm not that informed so I may be wrong. But it has always been my opinion that those non clipped fish are Canucks maybe from a Canadian hatchery. Unless its changed the Canucks fin clip Coho but not Chinooks.
