IDFG decided to bend over and will close fishing end of fishing hours December 7.

Before coming down on IDFG it would be a good idea to listen to last week's Meateater Podcast, the Director of IDFG is on there and they go in some depth on the steelhead issue. It would be completely unfair to assume IDFG is "bending over". This has everything to do with "environmental" groups using any means they can find to move their agenda forward even if those means are completely unrelated to their ends.
