D.O.E. - The real WA Dept. of Game - 03/10/20 09:55 AM

WDFW and others who may want a little history lesson may want to check this out.
I enjoyed the read.
It brought back memories of my duck hunting buddy Wes Hunter.
He was a stud.

He drove a new white Lincoln Towncar with the thick clear plastic cover on the seat in the back. His black lab would jump through the front door, over the front seat, and ride in the back after a full day of retrieving ducks in a cow chit flooded field well before steel shot was a thing.

Wes was the real deal.
Anyone that ever met him would agree.
Check out mid page 13 or read it all.

He was.
It's a shame the department has made a requirement of a degree.

They should require common sense.

Wes had it X1,000,000

Pretty sure WDFW does not really care about degrees. Pretty sure that Warren does not have one.

Ron worked his way up one step at a time from the bottom. When he headed hatcheries his efforts to insure the well being of those he supervised is well known. Just wish the hell he had not moved over to fish program as he had to throw a lot of ideals overboard to work in that division.

There were more than a few folks who had to toss their ideals in order to get up the ladder.
