2022-2023 Washington Sport Fishing Rules

A neighbor called me to ask a question about the salmon rules for the Chehalis River during the month of November. I explained what I remembered from On-line meetings, earlier this year. Any how he then told me that he got a copy this morning, 6/29/2022.

I decided to download the rules to my laptop.....took awhile to go thru all the steps.....BUT I GOT IT !!!!!!!!

I was going to write down the steps/path, I used but after step 7 I gave up. Reason was, it sounded like a lot of double talk.

It's 152 pages......... but its doable, Good luck !!!!!!

Steps to follow to see/get 2022-23 Washington Sport Fishing Rules

1. Be on WDFW web site

2. Click on Fishing & Shell Fishing

3. Click on Fishing Regulations

4. Click on 2021-2022 Sport Fishing Rules (doesn't make sense but just do it)

5. When new page loads....click on LOWER picture "Washington Sport Fishing Rules"

It will work.....just did it 3 times, worked every time. I saved the file, but you just might want to down load it each time????

Are you having a hard time finding paper copies of the sportfishing rules in Grays Harbor? They are plenty down here in the Tacoma area at Sportco and other tackle outlets and boathouses.

No....lots of them around, paper copies but I prefer to have the file on my computer. so if someone calls my house with a question, very easy to use my laptop, rather than try to find "paper copy".

156 pages seems a little over kill, last year it was "only" 148 pages.

I'd like to have the ability to have a smaller file to put on my IPhone, I alway have that with me......

Didn't WDFW go through an internal process a couple years ago with the goal being to simplify the regs? Well, they did! Have to wonder if the additional pages represent simplified (fewer) rules and more advertising (to pay for the printing). If not....well, some things don't seem to change.
