Flies for westside lakes? - 05/14/04 05:25 PM

Can I please get a general rundown of some of the favorite patterns for Washington coastal lakes, both wets and dries?

Wet:

1. Woolley bugger - black.
2. Carey Special, peacock, self-Carey, lime, & bright orange as body colors.
3. Partridge and green (or orange).
4. Chironomids.

Dry:

1. Pink Lady (don't know why they call it that unless to throw people off; it's dressed with a burnt orange body and palmered ginger hackle.

Sincerely,
