Long Island Bahamas?

Anyone here been down that way? I've been to Belize a couple times chasing bones and tarpon but my buddy wants to take a trip to the Bahamas.

Probably looking at next Feb or March. I've seen some info about Deadman's Cay being a good place with plenty of wadeable flats close by.

No experience with Long Island, but I spent a week on Exuma this past spring.
