Finally!! - 07/10/07 10:41 PM

My Long awaited trip to the Penninsula is only Days away and I Couldn't be more Stoked .I'm hoping to be Searching for Sea Run Cuts This Saturday Afternoon and All Day Sunday. I found a Marina in Sequim ..Bosuns Locker ...that Rents Boats ....I'm thinking spending a day via Rental boat Searhing the waters inside Discovery bay for SRC's .I need to Get some Good Fly Patterns and Direction ......Would PT angler be a good bet? Does anyone have any experience with them? Also Considering spending some time fishing the Beaches on Whidbey Island .I'm Bringing only Fly Gear ....Am I shooting myself in the Foot by not bringing Spin gear? I guess I could always buy spin gear out there if I strike out with the fly rods .....
Any Signs of Pinks from the Beaches yet?

Quick question, maybe shows my lack of knowledge, but I would like to fly fish for Pinks from my boat. I can catch them with gear, but hitting them with a fly rod sounds like more fun. What should I use as a pattern? I want to find a school and cast to them, not troll. Thanks.
