Kayak Point

Has anyone gone for silvers or humpers on the fly out at Kayak Point? I am looking for somewhere to go that is close (not on an island). I live in Marysville, so I know the rivers well. I would like to try for something a little more salty though. I went beach fishing for the first time just a couple of weeks ago on Whidbey. I had a great time. I just can’t justify driving that far or taking a ferry.
