Rainy Monday Sea-run cutt report - 05/05/09 03:46 AM

It poured on my head from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., but the falling tide was nice and the cloudy, wet weather had the cutts feeling aggressive.
I fished a beach I'm still learning, and I found a really cool combination rip/dropoff deal that held fish from time to time during the falling tide. The beach -- in South Sound -- lost about 8 feet of water during this tide, and the fish are still ON chum salmon fry.
I fished Doug Rose's Keta Rose and Bob Triggs' Chum Baby.
Sea-runs really like crummy weather -- as long as the inlet doesn't go coffee-colored.
