Fishing lake Havasu in October

Spending a month in Havasu, bringing inflatable kayak, with motor and various fly gear for strippers and bass, trout if available. Have house near London bridge golf course. Any one hear fished the area??? It will be my first trip there..

I was there several weeks ago at Cattail Bend State park. Lots of anglers on the water. That's all I know. Oh yeah, a guy did catch a 40 plus pound catfish on another local impoundment.
