FARMED FISH

If the indians whant nets and fish, then why don't the farm them, thus all the fish they can handle? pro's - con's?

Fish farming would be okay as long as it is done on the ground and not in the sound. Also as long as the effluent is treated to the same standards as from our waste treament facilities. Would the tribes go that route? Probably not. If they buy in to fish farming then the pressure to farm clams, goeducks, oysters, etc will be over wellming. I don't think they would be willing to forgoe tradition and the massive expenditures for startup.
