Hello everyone,
Nice to meet you Bob, RT I decided to follow you over here as well (not really a stalking thing - jk) and it appears to be a real nice site. A little history, I primaraly fish the Willamette valley rivers mostly the Sandy, both Santiams and down on the Siletz and Alsea as well. My passion is springers on the Sandy, I've fished this river for about 20 years. I look forward to meeting everyone and will try to add some helpful insight as well.

Welcome aboard Artwo ... nice to see some more faces from my old stomping grounds. never fished the Sandy much for the bigger fish, but have fond memories of being drug around by dad on a tether line dipping smelt years ago. Guess they even had a return this year??

Hi Artwo. Good to see you here! You will add some good info to this site. And yes Bob, the Sandy, and I heard the Lewis too, got smelt runs for the first time in many years. Part of this good ocean survival thing going on - part of the La Nina thing they say (opposite of El Nino). The weather experts had predicted a couple years of this, but now think we may have it around for several years. That would be great!!!
