Summer Steelhead On The Coast

Just wondering if anybody is catching any fresh summer runs yet on any of the coastal rivers in Oregon or Washington.

The only one I heard of came out of the Hoko a couple days before it closed.

I've seen a couple caught by bankies while springer fishin on the columbia.

It dosent get a plant. It does get a good number of strays as most peninsula streems do.

Ive never fished the Hoko to target summerruns but have hit a couple going after cutts in Jun/July.

I have caught quite a few summerruns in early Nov going after winter fish. So there must be a good number of summerruns in there but I think most of them come in late summer through early winter.
