Two state records will fall, huge Westport fish. - 09/07/01 07:09 PM

I just got off of the phone with one of my clients who weighed two record fish in the past few weeks. One fish was a 25 pound Chum, and the other was a 13 pound Pink. Their business has one of the few certified scales that will register that high in Westport.

The Chum has been certified as a record, but with as many large pinks out there this year as there are, the state is waiting to certify that fish.

I am out to break the Coho record this weekend wink wink ;), and I will actually have someone joining me. Seacat has been brave enought to join me on Sunday, so you can get some verified reports of our success.

Go catch some fish, because I heard all of those Orygun I-fishers don't really fish, they are just keyboard fishermen, and fisherwomen. They just scan the web for pictures of people who have caught fish and post their mugs over the real fisherman's faces. Some even assume the photo identity of real fishermen. eek eek eek

Take lots of pictures and store them on your hard drive so that these hackers can get some more material to try and intimidate us for the slaughter on the water. If you don't believe me, just look at these folks in person, they are a lot uglier than the pictures. Must be some photo shop stuff going on there.

We know the real truth! Andy

Good luck on the coho. A friend and I were out in mid August and we landed a 19+ pound coho.
