going to be going to hood canal in a couple of weekends to stay at a cabin, have access to a boat so of course we've got to go fishing. I could sure use some help on what to use (for silvers), will be near dewatto bay. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance. smile

Chumsalmon Big time slow in the coho action. The skok run is just starting. A flasher of any color with a coyote spoon green glow is your best bet....but your a bit late. There's some good yelloweye off Dewatto but you can only keep one per person. Look at your chart and notice where it stairsteps around 250 to 300 feet.
normal timed chums might be in around Hoodsport and Potlatch....check them out. A small herring under a float is killer on these.
