O.P. River report from 10/26 10/27 10/28 - 10/31/01 05:52 PM
My self and two buddies took off thursday night headed for a O.P. river to fish king's/coho.While not paying much attention to the river levels as we knew the rivers were out,we still went any ways
and figured if we could'nt fish then we'ed just camp, drink lots of beer and whiskey & coke.Well needless to say we did end up fishin and we were the only boat on the river all three day's.We hooked 39 and landed 20 our hook to land ratio sucked the big one,but it was a blast. The first day we hooked 21 and landed 7 the second day we hooked 10 landed 7 and the third day we only fished tell 10:30 we hooked 8 and landed 6.These
fish were tackle smashin hard fightin S.O.B's.The king's ran from 15 to 45 pounds while the coho were runnin 10 to 18 pound's with some real chromers in the mix of both.We only took home four each.Good luck,
