Flipped sled on the Cowlitz

My buddy fished the Cowlitz on Sunday and did well. He told me that some guy was driving his sled up the rapids by Blue Creek and his jet pooped out on him and he couldn't get his kicker started. He eventually went sideways into a log or something and tipped. He lost all of his rods and gear. He swam to shore somehow got his sled out of the river. I don't know the exact details. Anyone know the rest of the story??
