You know, there's a certain biblical perversity to this rain. Best steelhead return in 10 years, and they're all going to slip by us under high water. This is all due to the pop cans and beer bottles that we didn't recycle 20 years ago...

I don't even need to catch them, Lord, just let me have a reasonable shot at them...

For perspective, I have tomorrow off, I have a new boat, and the river I fish is 13,000 cfs over fishable heights. Take me now...

I agree. I have been home for winter break for 5 days and Only one day the riverswere fishable and I hooked 2 steelies. This rain is rediculous. It should take a while before the river become fishable again.
