Vintage telescoping Lamiglas - 12/31/01 10:03 PM

Back in the day, 1975-1985 when I was backpacking all over Washington state. One of my main goals was the search for"high lake" trout. As a tool in this purisuit I came across a rather odd bird, it was as I remember a 7' spin/fly combo-rod ( fly as in, it had a fly reel-seat at the end of the cork handle ) it was a Lamiglas fiberglass 1 pc. rod that whould collapse down to about 18-20" two sliding rings on the cork served as the spinning reel-seat. It sported spinning guides and was a medium brown in color, think I bought it at the seattle R.E.I. I see it on my slide's but for the life of me can't remember what I did with that rod! Anyone ever own one of these's? Ate alot of trout dinners @ 4000-6000 elv. thanks to that rod. laugh laugh
