That's The Brat of all Brats! Way to go, Brad! You should fly the fish up to Ted's - there's plenty of landing space in the parking lot! eek That fish is a shoe-in for the winning brat!

That's the largest fin clipped steelie I've seen.

Wow.

I think the "fly" part has to do with the helo, cleo, not the gear they were using...... laugh

Ok I just gotta ask..........so what did ya get it on! If its a secret then don't worry about it. I'm guessing it was taken on a spoon if you were gear fishing.

Damn, thats a dandy, is it going on the wall? I would give up 5 years of fishing to put a 25+ lbs. (hatchery steelhead) on the wall.

This may be a stupid question but what makes that a hatchery fish?

that fish was heading to the hatchery at the upper quinalt. his dorsal fin is only about 1 inch tall. most of those fish dont have clipped addipose .

Nates tend to have long and pefect fins. That fish is so far from "perfect" that it's almost a a Brute!

Clipped or not, that's an easy-to-spot hatchery fish.

True Nates on the Quinault are beautiful fish. The really do stand out in the crowd of hatchery fish.

I don't think bardo is going to put that on the wall as he already has a 35 pounder up that he got last year!! eek

Parker, I think it was a 36 pound fish, not 35.
