I fished a local river with a friend today and Stuck 4 springers in about a half an hour. Now I gotta go scrub the blood out of the boat :p . I just hate cleaning up salmon blood laugh

JR, we got them way south on a trib to the Willamette.

Bob, The bbq is next sunday at my place, you bring the beer. You can sample some of my famous bacon wrapped teryaki salmon shishkabobs (sp)..

Im on em again tomorrow.

Paul,
I saw a post saying the springers are kegged up below the dam. Were you above it? Did you try for steelhead at all or was it just a springer float? The #'s over the falls don't look bad though I don't know if I'm going to be able to make the trip south anytime soon.

Ryan,

We were fishing below the dam. The fish are in the lower river in good #'s

As for the recipe.......

Take a skinless fillet and cut into 2"X2" cubes. Wrap each piece with a piece of pepper bacon, hold the bacon on with a tooth pick. Soak the pieces in your favorite teryaki sauce for 3 to 5 hours. You can either bbq the peices by themselves or make shishkabobs...... Good eats!
