GOOD DEEDS - 05/29/02 12:04 AM

Recently out crabbing on the Hood Canal when my buddy and I found a crap pot drifting out 220ft plus on outgoing tide. The pot was distintively marked with address and phone number. After careful consideration of said pot, I decided to contact owner on cell phone and make arrangements to return pot. Needless to say, owner was very relieved to retrieve his pot and gear.
My only hope is that some one else will have the same consideration for me!!!!

We need more people to act responsibly as you did! And it will come back to you.

A good deed indeed. Glad to hear some good things still do happen. Way to go. What goes around comes around.

FSHN4FUN,
You get a gold star. laugh Good job, there are many people out there that would just take the pot and run.
Anyways, I was fishing cutthrout out of Mysery Point on satureday and it was a zoo because of all the shrimpers. Is that what you were doing? Take care.

Thumper,
No crab in pot because line was tangled and maybe only out 20 ft but still had bait in pot. Would not have taken crab also.

PlugPuller,
Was out crabbing Sunday and Monday. Found pot on Monday drifting out on outgoing tide. Strong current because of extreme low tide. We had our limit within two hours with four pots (before low slack tide). Nice crab, nice day, nice company, and a very peaceful day.
