The Glacier is flowing bigtime. But these cool days over the holidays may help. Sometimes get a little midday clearing. GOod luck

Water levels have dropped back down. Not sure of the color or visibility but I'll have a fresh report Friday.

The rumor at the sporting goods here in town was that it was starting to kick out some more fish.

This is really a September fishery, at least it was way back when I was trying it. The cooler weather of the early fall clears the water.

Duck,

Where did you float from today? I fished above town today and crackered 2 fish around 10 am and had a couple more promising hits. Lots of people swimming/bathing in the river today. Must have been 30 cars parked below Horseshoe Bend bridge and 50-75 people bathing in the river. Looked like some sort of baptism ceremony at a nudist colony. eek

Wonder how long the river will stay in shape with 90 degree temps forecasted?

jberry, floated below town. River should stay in for a while. There was a hippie like concert /festival up Wahkiacus heights rd. Over a thousand heads are up there for four days. It was like the sixtys started over again. Brings back memories. The Duck
