cleaning old spinners - 07/14/02 09:23 PM

last winter i found about 40 spinners in trees and snags and threw them all into an old tackle box. today i brought them out to check conditions of hooks and was wanting to clean them up while i have them out. any suggestions on what to use. i'd like to have the blades nice and shiny again before the silvers start running....

Might try putting them in a can of Deisiel for a few days or maybe coke that should take the corosion and rust off.

Try rubbing the blades with tooth paste. After rubbing all the surfaces let it set for a few minutes and rinse.
