Olympic Peninsula fly fishing?

Olympic Peninsula fly fishing? - 10/23/02 01:50 AM

I'm contemplating a visit to the OP next week for a few days of escape and fishing. Can someone enlighten me on possible fly fishing opportunities around the park? I would like to go after King, Chum, steelie, primarily.

Also what's the weather and river conditions like this time of the year?

Not great by any means up here. Low rivers and a lot of closures for the fishing of salmon especially chinook.

It has been a rainless event for way to long and is creating a bad situation for all.

Just watch for the posts on any changes. Biggest being the desperate need for rain.
