Ill be over at my parents in discovery bay the first part of November and was thinking about heading to the Dosewallips for some chum on my fly rod. I need to get my but kicked.
I think its open starting in November but im not sure.

I just looked it up...the Dosewallips is open from Nov 1 through Dec 15th for Chum but it is only open from the mouth up to Hwy 101...above 101 it is only open for steelhead.

I camped at the state park about a month ago and there were chum everywhere in the river from just above the bridge to the mouth and they were spawning hard.
Was fun to watch.
