That just shows you how important it is to have a good backup QB when in purcuit of a championship. Cougars had a better chance of winning if they would have deliberately down the ball each down and then go for the field goals on 4 th down in OT. That was the worst I've seen from a so-called QB that is on scholarship or is he a walk on? The win goes to the team that was better prepared. Go huskies.

Once that second QB was in there wasn't one first down the rest of the game not even in O.T. If Gesser would've stayed in i'm sure the outcome of that game would have been different, oh well atleast we still have a chance at the rose bowl..

Both teams wanted to lose that game.

But I put the bulk of the blame on Mike Price, not Matt Kegal. Run the ball and the clock, Mike, and let your defense take care of business. But Nooooooo........Price has Kegal throw a deep ball that gave the Huskies the interception they needed to stay in the game.

The int's, the penalties, the muffed punt, the roughing the kicker, the double forward pass, the lateral.........man what a comedy of errors.

But winning ugly is STILL better than losing ugly.

It looked to me like the entire O line hurt their ankles along with gesser. Its hard to throw with 5 or 6 bloodthirsty giants charging you. give the poor guy a break. <img border="0" alt="[wall]" title="" src="graemlins/wall.gif" />

Is it just me or should Cody be at the top of the Heisman list in 2003 especially if Reggie returns.

Cody will be at the top of the List, I know a Hiesman Voter and he tried to get him there this year but they as a team did not perform well enough.
Also Reggie will be back. You have to have 3 years in before you can declare. After next year he and Cody will both be heading to the NFL, hopefully after picking up there national chapionship rings. The Dawgs could be absolutely killer next year. Maybe cody can throw for 5,000 next year.
