My mom loved Gen.Patton.
He was,an still is one of the greats.

One of the rumors about George is that he was silenced by the OSS or some other US organization. He was an embarrassment to a bunch of the Communist butt kissers.
Of course the same was said about Lawrence in England. He was so incensed at the goverments dealings with the Arabs, after making a bunch of false promises, that he shot off his mouth and was an embarrassment to No 10 Downing Street and a bit later had a fatal motorcycle accident. The car that created the accident was never located.
Coincidence.
