Brett Favre... - 08/05/08 08:24 PM

Who else thinks this guy is one of the most self indulgent jerk off's ? Even 50% of Packer fans have turned on this asshat I hope Aaron Rodgers gets off to a great start and has a great career. Sure BF is one of the best qb's of all time, but enough already!

I'm with you Sol Duc. Brett give it a rest already. That dude flip flops more than John Kerry.
I'd bang his wife though.

As a long time Vikings fan I'd like to thank Brett for all the interceptions he threw us over the years...

Its all about the Purple this year boys.. and you heard it here first.. every year.. for the last 40 years...

Who cares about Brett Farve, guy was a great Q.B and if he plays he plays. What I can't figure out is the Bears and Rex Grossman.. old Rex has the suck turned up full blast.

I'm glad football is here. Its the only sport I can stand aside from the NCAA B-ball tourny. college ball too.

The B.S.U faithful are predicting great things. I say the Ducks beat their asses so bad in week three that its will be rather humbling. They found out last year that they ain't the same team that ran the table the year before. Its amazing how many of the guys are playing and playing real well in the NFL from that team 2 years ago.

Re: Brett Favre... - 08/05/08 10:47 PM

Brett, IMO, has earned the right. If nothing else he should get what he wishes and be released. I have a feeling that it goes way deeper than anyone really knows. somebody that has had such an elustrious career doesn't get back burnered like that without something big going on.

Re: Brett Favre... - 08/06/08 11:01 AM

Who's Brett Favre? wink

Aaron Rodgers is from down here in Chico, so it will be fun to see him play.

Favre plays good enough for his team to lose - he always throws the stupid interception like the one in overtime against the Giants that cost them the trip to the superbowl.

More importantly is Favre backing McCain or Obama? doh rofl

Farve should fill the Steve Deburg role nicely in Tampa Bay.

Re: Brett Favre... - 08/06/08 12:24 PM

He is one of the best of all time and I am sure there is more happening between him and the packers than anyone knows. Everyone seems to jump on him and say cry baby blah blah blah. I dont really like him but he earned the right to play if he wants. Two years ago he was a washed up old man that sucked and only wanted records.....after last year he was a hero that rose up and almost brought home another ring.....now he is a winer again. Give the guy a break and trade him if he wants. Like Montana with the 49ers......he earned it.

You say that like it's a bad thing- in San Fran, that will get you all the free drinks you'd want in a lifetime!

The 9'ers need to bring Garcia back - at least he sounded like he was gay.

Actually moreso now than ever before because he is one of us.
Well not all of us.
That's for sure.

Or would you rather see dreaded out overpaid punks flashing gang signs from the sidelines?
Nevermind.

Looks like the deal is sealed. Farve is a New York Jet, just saw it on FOX sports, Jay Glazer reports.
