Brick work, anyone? - 05/08/12 05:53 PM

Need some help getting a little work done on one of my houses. It is a fireplace that was filled in for a propane free standing stove.

Probably a 1 day job. Property is in Rainier, WA. Need to bring bricks up the sides so I can plcace an oak mantle up top.

Brickwork? Haven't done bricks in many years. Not too difficult, unless you also want brick across the top. Why not DIY?

Cause I am needed on the carpentry crew this weekend. I worked 97 hours last week, and if I can hand off a job to someone and get this buttoned up, by June my weekends might actually belong to me.
