Andy, if you take the time to go through at least the first 25 pages, you'll be overwhelmed by such tidbits of awesomness as:

Quote:
F.ucking Jenga!...

"

Quote:
Measure once cut ..ah fuckit.

and even more evidence that 'hook may be involved:
Quote:
I nearly cut myself.

Mixed-use is the current building trend.
I can see retail on the bottom floor and condos or a hotel up top of that fine structure.

I kept looking for this guy to use a saw during the first vid but never did see one used and only toward the end of the second did I see him use a saw. I was beginning to wonder whether this was the same guy that built that staircase in Santa Fe without the use of nails!

Some of the folks who read the thread drove out by Langley, B.C. and added more photos of the shed, adding proof to the crazy reality I guess. What's interesting is that the thread, originally from a motorcycle forum, has been reposted to forums of all kinds, all around the world. Surely someone who has seen it must know the owner/builder and told him about it by now.

Awesome thread. It is very funny, but it is more common than you would expect and I have seen terrible "work" in places that humans inhabit or work in.

As an engineering consultant, I can only cringe looking at this. Because I know that this guy is going to get popped by the building official, and then call someone like me and say: "Building officiar terr me I need engineeling stamp on my sructuh. I onry have $150 dorra, he terr me you just have to rook at it and give stamp and retter of approvar."

Fortunately I have figured out how to deal with these clients. I ask for the $150 as a retainer, spin my chair around 5 times and hand them a match book.

(Sorry in advance for the offensive Engrish usage for those of you who like to get offended.)
