Haven't watched but I've been reading about it.
Great comeback indeed. I believe the final race is on tube at 1:00 today.
Go Team Oracle!

I would be out fishing, but the wind here is perfect for the blow boaters. I'll be watching.

Awesome boats. They put Kevin Costner's boat to shame. But he did run that thing by himself. Given the choice I suppose I would go for Kevin's boat and head for some remote BC Cove.

I'm kind of surprised PP's biggest wind bag isn't interested.... wink

But an 8 to 10 million dollar a game losing team, lead by a quarterback that does nothing but suck balz, does?

I find a tad bit of irony in that... wink

Why do you hate america so much? Think back on that last hundred years and the america's cup challenges?

live stream on NBC if you are stuck at work like me... good race by the american boat so far...

Regardless of interest in sailing or not, that was one of the biggest comeback wins in the history of all sporting events! Pretty cool. And those boats are very impressive how they get up and just fly! 40 knots gave some of those chase boats quite the ride in those waves.

Good job USA!!

Yeah, greatest comeback since JC!

Hulls must be manufactured in the nation of the challenging yacht club, but there is no nationality restriction on sailors involved.

There was just one American aboard the Oracle boat.

Hank must have more eyes than a fly if he can post here all day, give MS advise, read right wing emails, watch football, gay porn and be a nurse at the same time.

And now back to our regularly scheduled programming.....

Didn't watch it this go round but have read a few articles and watched some vids as things progressed. Epic comeback from the *enhancement* penalties.

Use to race locally in the 80's. Had the pleasure of watching Dennis Conner guide the Stars & Stripes to victory in 1987 while I was in Perth. Met a woman that got my bud and I into the Royal Perth YC on the final race day. Have some Kodachrome slides of DC getting champagne dumped over his head as the tender boat brought the yacht in the the YC. Was there at the ESPN press conference/cup award too. Shared food and beverages with royalty and CEO's that day. 'Twas almost as much fun as stamfest.... wink

The only part of any of those races that I happened to see live was the Oracle boat rounding the last buoy on the last race followed by the New Zealand boat. It was a coincidence that I was at our main office at 1pm that day but it was kind of a cool slice of history.

I've done some sailing & it would be a real rush to be on one of those sleds. Flying a hull at 40+ knots & then scrambling to tack & not fall in would take a real deck ape.

I have a hobie cat that I sail once and awhile... I love it when a power boat comes up next to me on a plane, look at the speedometer and give a thumbs up... But those America's cup boats are just rediculous fast...

did you happen to catch this clip out? At least he wont have to worry about the [Bleeeeep!] in his pants... 40 mph enema...
