Life Pro Tip #1076

DO NOT mix Round-Up, Weed-B-Gon and Liquid Moss Out all together in your pump sprayer thinking you are making some sort of a "super spray". You are NOT making any sort of a "super spray" and it ruins the very nice pump sprayer instantly.

Ah chemistry you win again!.... foul

You might want to do some research on the new findings using Round-up. It's no joke. .02

Yep - it was the Moss Out. As soon as I added it, the chemical reaction created an orange expanding foam type of substance that became like sticky glue inside the sprayer. Totally ruined the sprayer. Thankfully I fully suit up & mask up for these type of activities.

Lesson learned the hard way, so that's why I thought to share it with the board...

thats the iron sulfate in it, (ferric, anhydrous)... Walmart has cheap flow master 1 and 2 gallon sprayers on sale right now for 5 and 10 dollars, they work fine, you can get a backpack one for around 60....

id just get a small 1 gallon for the moss out, and a nicer one for the weed killer...

as you know Round Up and WBG (24D) mix just fine, and kills pretty much anything in its path... if you can get Crossbow or something similar you will have better results than with just the WBG but you probably already know that... its a tad more expensive as well, but that and Round Up kills everything....

I can't believe you guys didn't come up with a solution of simply smoking the weed instead.

Pro Tip 1076.2

While out spraying your own weeds, make sure the heavy over spray involves many of your neighbors weeds.
In my case....I'd have no weeds if it wasn't for my neighbor trying to win the Dandelion blue ribbon at the Puyallup fair this fall.

They can't. They can only smoke it if they buy it at a pot shop. Now in Oregon or Calif they could grow it AND smoke it. But then if we were in Calif there would be no need for the Moss out in the first place so this subject would be moot.

Trust me, if I could monetize Dandelions, Thistle and Scotch Broom, I'd be a very wealthy man. Too bad I can't sell them as "organic, free range healthy greens" to the Seattle foodie masses. A little "super spray" just adds flavor and essential "vitamins".

We must share the same neighbor. Mine has taken yard neglect to a higher art form. He's a professional landscaper to boot. C'mon man - get it together.
