Rock on Bros - 08/29/19 10:36 AM

My son is 12.
About 8 months ago he decided he wanted to play guitar and wanted dad to foot the bill for lessons.
This not being my first rodeo, I told him straight up I wasn't footing the bill and hauling his butt back and forth from lessons until I saw a commitment.
Granted I have hooked him up with some hardware both acoustic and electric since then.
He played his first hour live on stage with a friends band a week ago, was comfortable, and loved it.
I'm not in anyway musical except occasionally sing in the shower.
He is 100% self taught and at last count has a 70ish song play list.

Last night I walked into his room and put him on the spot just for kicks.

Looks and sounds pretty commited to me.
He picked up a lot in 8 months for being self taught.
Rock on little dude.

oh, and the reason he started playing, is because his dad took him to an AC/DC concert, and basically said, he was going to do what Angus does....

Chip off the old block? Looks like it to me.

That boy's gonna get more ass than a toilet seat.

Enjoy the ride and take it all in stride.
