Suspended over having a BB gun in his room while doing online virtual class...

Is this the new norm for the future?

During waterfowl season in the '70's, there were several scatterguns safely stowed in HS lockers and vehicles in the p/l. Nobody died nor were they expelled....

What changed?

So dumb.

It's like a retard contest between the right and left and at the moment, it's neck-and-neck.

Isn't there a gigantic meteor somewhere that can end this sh!t show?

Apparently analytical thinking was beyond the grasp of the teacher in this case. It's true, the school district does have a policy pertaining to weapons. It's also true that the student's bedroom is on private property beyond the purview of the school district. If the teacher was as skilled as she ought to be for her job, she would have just told the student that the BB gun was visible in the online screen and that he should move it out of sight to comply with the school district's policy. Recommending and executing a 6-day suspension illustrates that stupidity knows few bounds.

There was another recent incident where a child picked up a toy gun in the background during a Zoom class. The police showed up at the house to investigate a short time later.

Wouldn't be the worst idea to leave your bb gun out of view for yor online learning. I'm guessing his parents put him up to it for their political agenda.
