REEEEEVo Needs Friends

REEEEEVo Needs Friends - 10/30/20 07:55 AM

This guy posts his personal [Bleeeeep!] off topic to threads for years. I know more about his personal life details than some of my life long best friends.

The guy needs a friend or two. Any volunteers? Not it...

Perhaps if you quit preying on his insecurities he could attain some level of self confidence.

It's actually you coming out of him.

It sometimes takes someone to lend a hand to pull others out of the mud. It’s not helpful to keep kicking them when they’re down in it.

Don't kid yourself, the older you get the less friends you need..

If you pull Evo up from the mud, he'll just throw himself back down in it.

That's what he does.

Lol at you guys. I was being serious. The guy writes a book about his personal stuff daily. I think he needs a friend.

I offered to fight him in an organized fight. Probably not good friend material for him. Maybe one of you?

Spoonie and Evo are the same poster.

Evo's down in it? Based on his own admission, he's awesome, the best shooter, the best flosser, knows all the best famous people, just the best dude you can imagine. I bet he even has the best words.

Used to catch some bulls in there way back when.
I wonder if those go to the salt like other populations in the state do.

That is a nice pic, cool fish!

Not being a jerk but seen it in a couple of your pics Evo, make a point to flip your reel when putting it on the ground for pics so you can use the handle to elevate it off the ground, helps keep the dirt out and can keep the reel out of the water.

Agreed. I have a ton of great trips with photos from the last year but it’s too much work to upload ‘em.

I enjoy photos with fishing reports, but I simply don't take many photos. Of fishing trips or anything else. And uploading photos is a pain on this site. Maybe it's because I'm retarded. WTF is an imgur?

Oh sorry, that's not nearly as cool.

Casting Dick Nites with a spey rod is a bit of hoot for steelhead, have only fished coho that way a few times up in AK with fairly outstanding results.

I'm always down to try different techniques, but that spey casting doesn't seem like my cup o tea. I built a spey rod for a friend of mine. He loves it. Yet to catch much however lol.

Re: REEEEEVo Needs Friends - 11/03/20 03:53 PM

I'd rather be fishing than fly fishing, but..... well, while I do have a fly rod and I will travel to use it..
..I have yet to embrace this cool new culture of fly fishing.

The wave will come and the wave will go and I'll still have the same coffee grinder, fish pole and skein of pink wool yarn that I had when the fad hit.

I bet you and most real fishermen will, too.

To digress just a bit further, come on Stam! That cool new culture of fly fishing is only cool and new to Millennial generation fly bros. Fly fishing has been around hundreds of years longer than new-fangled spinning and casting outfits. Speaking of cool and new, I went coho fishing a little over a week ago and am down to my last two rvrfshr spoons. Maybe Todd can fix me up.

Technically I think the fish would have to be in a Ron Jeremy-esq self gratifying pose to achieve the necessary number of orifices close enough for one hand to "kancho"

Re: REEEEEVo Needs Friends - 11/04/20 07:39 AM

I stopped by the barrier dam the just before dark the other evening. Two people fishing the upper egg water, one with jigs and the other with a spinner. About 6 people well below that appeared to be lining, but no snagging. The cowlitz, off the bank, isn't what it used to be like, for the most part. Spent an evening at blue creek earlier this year for summer runs, and shared the stretch below the creek with 3 guys. two of which left leaving me the lower half. Its not isolated, but definitely was not what I would call crowded.
